Camping de l'Etang is a Dutch-run camping with restaurant. We went here (on Yvonne's recommendation) for a steak-frites dinner, except for Ed who opted for something pork. My bavette/steak was probably the best I've had in recent year, perfectly cooked and delicious.
The restaurant is in a lovely location on a lake. We sat outside for aperitifs, but it's still too cool to eat out in the evenings.
Min punt: people were smoking in the bar (right under the No Smoking sign), very Dutch. Even though we sat in the restaurant, we came home stinking of smoke. Boo. Will only return when we can eat outdoors.
They have 3 largish, very nice dogs who roamed the restaurant. These terrified poor Pogo who really didn't understand when they invited him for a romp on the beach. He should stay at home next time.
