Lovely town, attractive restaurant, boring food. With Bill, after the Phoenix booksale in Campsegret and a bit of touristing in Perigueux. Food was OK, but not memorable. For a starter I had friture d'ablette, which was a bunch of small freshwater fish fried up, an eat-'em-all sort of thing. Not bad, but too much food. Memorable, I guess, since I've never had that before.
